In this City Council race here in California City, you’re going to hear a lot about résumés, titles, and past positions.
My opponent lists experience across government offices, organizations, and appointed roles. That background is noted—but let’s be clear about something that often gets overlooked:
When it comes to serving in an elected position in local city government, we are exactly the same. Neither of us has ever been elected by the public to serve on a city council.
So this race isn’t about who has the longer list of titles.
It’s about who has already taken action for this city.
I stepped forward and worked directly with our City Council to help change outdated ordinances—allowing more pets per household and making fostering legal. That’s real, local impact that benefits residents today.
Because serving on a City Council isn’t about titles or appointments—it’s about:
Taking initiative
Solving local problems
Delivering real results
There are many ways to gain experience.
But proven action in your own community matters.
I’m running on what I’ve done—and what I will continue to do for the people of California City.
